Our game is like chutes and ladders, with a little titch of head band mixed in. The way you win the game is when you reach Matt O in the cockpit. When it’s your turn you put a card in your headband and your partner takes the same card and he reads the question in English and you have to find the word in French in 10 seconds, and if you get it right you roll the dice. What I contributed to my game is that I had the idea of making it on a plane, and I drew all the squares and the plane. I also made some of the questions. In the process of creating the game I learnt some of the French airplane vocab. I thought creating a board game would be really easy but it’s actually a lot harder than I thought. I think the game is pretty good to play, but I don’t like board games. I think board games are really boring but for someone who likes them I think they would enjoy our game. It’s pretty straight forward, and it gets exciting because you only have 10 seconds to find the word.

Le film était 124 minutes long.

Famous Designers in France

The names of the great french designers, Yes Saint-Laurent, Dior Cardine, Givenchy, Coco Chanel, are famous worldwide. You can see the elegant shops of the great designers on Montaigne Avenue or Faubourg Saint Honoré road. This is where wealthy people buy their clothes and accessories.

Small shops and department stores

Most people living in Paris do not shop at the big designers. Everywhere in Paris, there are little shops that are much cheaper than the major designers shops. There are also department stores. In Paris, the department store galleries of Lafayette and Printemp are the most popular. There are also chain stores like Prisunic. In the big department stores, you can go from one department to another. There are often discounted items and twice a year there are balances, early January to
early July.

The flea markets

Children love to go to the market. They go there on the weekend because it is closed during the week. Flea markets are big markets you can find everything, clothes, food, tables, chairs, etc. You can find clothing or accessories with a label of a fashion, very cheap, or very expensive!

I think we should do a couple more of these and see how fast we can do it, so it prepares us for the french exam. I think it will be alot faster on a computer, and when we use the book we will be way slower. I was pretty slow when i made this one, but I think I will learn to be faster.
