Definitions:
Infinitive – The infinitive is the basic, un-conjugated form of a verb; a single word ending in er, ir, or re.
Example: Etre – To be
Conjugated – a verb that has been changed to fit a noun or pronoun
Example: Je suis – I am
ER/IR/RE verbs – Verbs that end in ER/IR/RE are called Infinitive, the infinitive is the ending, the letters ER/IR/RE. To conjugate them you remove the infinitive ending and add the appropriate ending. Here are some charts.

Avoir has a different conjugating rule than most.

The verb "faire" is an irregular verb, it means "to do, or, to make"
